Gmail Notifr

Gmail Notifr is an alternative to Google Notifier, developed by RubyCocoa and designed to send notifications when an email appears in the inbox of one or more Gmail accounts.

The application installs a menu bar icon from which you can access its functions. You can add email accounts in the preferences panel and set the frequency of notifications, too.

Gmail Notifr uses Growl and lets you choose the sound for the notifications when a new email arrives. You can also use the 'Check' option to check the status of the inbox at any time.

In addition, you can select the 'Launch at Login' option if you want Gmail Notifr to run automatically when you start your computer. Don't forget to activate it if you don't want to launch the application manually every time.
